Gaines Group is a small, privately-owned consulting group.

We have performed projects in Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, India, Israel, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and South Africa.

We typically divide our time between professional projects and nonprofit or volunteer activities such as the East Coast Meerkat Society, work with schools related to technology or special education.

If you do not know the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, a magnet public high school in Arlington, Virginka, you should.

In 2010, for the third year running, U.S. News & World Report rated Thomas Jefferson High School as top high school in the nation in its annual “America’s Best High Schools” issue.

If you do not know De La Salle Academy, a private magnet middle school for low-income students from all boroughs of New York City, you should.

De La Salle Academy provides academically talented, economically less advantaged children in grades six through eight of diverse backgrounds equal access to quality education through a needs-blind admission process. Since 1984, no youngster who qualified for admission has been turned away because of a family’s financial situation. Currently 53% of students are from families with incomes of less than $40,000 a year. Since its founding, De La Salle has provided a high-quality education to over 1,100 academically talented girls and boys from low-income and working-class families. De La Salle students have gained admission to such prominent high schools as Andover, Collegiate, Dalton, Fieldston, Fordham, Regis, and Stuyvesant, and attend such colleges and universities as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Williams, Georgetown, and Columbia. Over 95% of De La Salle alumni graduate from college.
